the BFG

Characters: Sophie, The BFG, the Queen, the Bloodbottler and heads of the army and air force.

Plot: the plot is that Sophie is a aurfon and is taken by a giant because he has been seen. The BFG takes her back to giant country where all the other giants are. The BFG is not a normal giant because the other giants eat humans but not him. So they go to the Queen to solve it then the giants are taken away and the Queen keeps them.

Age group: 7 to 13

favourite part: My favourite part is when they go on the journey to go and see the queen to solve all the problems in giant country.

A star rating: I would give it a 5 out of 5

What I learnt from our excursion

That different plants can give there own energy.

What I enjoyed about the excursion is the bee hive.

A habitat means that a certain animal or plant lives there.

A few habitats from around the world are desert and a rainforest.

A producer means the it has green leaves and it get energy from the sun and makes it own energy.

A consumer means a animal that eats seeds and berries.

A decomposer means a type of mushroom is a decomposer of dead plant.

Genius hour term 3 week 1

Today I in Genius hour I did Mit scratch. I learnt how to make a hexagon. you go 20 steps and 2 lefts. I also learnt how to move the animation character I was using. I could make some more shapes using my character? I need to try and improve the size if I can.  I was able to make the hexagon well. The program I used was Mit scratch. next week i am going to make a square or circle.
