I think it’s important to preserve Indigenous languages because:
- Once there lost its hard to get the back.
- The future aboriginals won’t know their languages.
I think it’s important to preserve Indigenous languages because:
I think it is important to preserve the indigenous languages because then people can keep talking the language that they enjoy talking to other people or their family. Another thing is that if heaps of people know the language then they can teach it to the children and then the children pass it on.
Why I think it’s important to preserve Indigenous languages.
I think it’s important to preserve Indigenous languages because by cutting them off we are losing connections with the aboriginals.
Most indigenous people relate to a traditional language. With aboriginals the language name is often the same as the tribe name.
Cultural knowledge is passed down the generations by traditional language.
it is important to remember our history language so we can under stand what other people say if they remember the history language.
aboriginals are starting to forget there history language and getting the habit of speaking English!
Why do you think it is important to preserve Indigenous languages?
We don’t want to have treasured knowledge lost which is very important.
Hi Bloggers, Bill here,
Part of this week’s homework is for us to answer this question: Why do you think it’s important to preserve Aboriginal language. These are my reasons why I think it’s important to preserve Aboriginal language. Reason 1 is that most of the people that live in Australia now, weren’t actually there before, whether it was there parents that came here, or even ancestors, we weren’t always here, but the aborigines have always lived here, and we all just decided we’d live here, so this land doesn’t belong to us, and yet the aborigines let’s us live here, so we have to help the Aboriginals survive, we should help them too! Finally reason 2 is it’s not too late to do the right thing! even though we have helped decrease numbers of the aborigines, we can help by protecting them, teaching and learning about them, and knowing that the Aborigines live in our world, we can all make a difference by helping the Aborigines.
Well unfortunately that’s all for today, I hope you enjoyed my post.
-Bill
