Today I finished off my genius hour planning. Isabella and I also helped Ronda to do her genius hour planning.
I learned how to draw joy from inside out.

Tom’s blog. Today we did our genius hour. I am doing a Minecraft video it is going to be me doing Minecraft. so I think I am doing a good job but I need to make a few changes but I’m doing good so far
I am potting a photo of me on it and I need to play Minecraft and me making a building a city but I count how much blocks I pot down like 25+25 = 50

This is A picture I made.😁😄😎 To make the fractions, we had to write down the pieces fractions:

1 whole is 1/1

1 half is 1/2

1 quarter is 1/4

1 eighth is 1/8

1 sixteenth is 1/16

1 thirty-fourth is 1/34
we had to write this in our grid pads.
I made a Pacman fish for fun.
Faction Fish Art
In my fraction fish art I have got a normal fish a sea horse (doesn’t really look like one) a crab (also doesn’t really look like one) a puffer fish that I tried to make a puffer fish and some ones that I created. I used a verses amount of colours because if you only used 1 or 2 colours it would be a boring picture. Don`t really have a method but I did use all different shapes and sizes to show the creatures under the sea.

This is my fraction fish. The first fish I used was a clown fish but I did not get the right colours. The second fish is a puffer fish. My third fish is a sardine and my fourth fish is an octopus. My fifth fish is a crab and my sixth fish is a swordfish.
The colours I used were green, purple, blue, gold and red.
Method You get a circle and you fold and you fold until you get up to thirty
seconds.

this term for maths we are learning about fractions. This week we made some fraction fish. I only had time for 6 fish. We had to write a list of our fractions. I will show you a picture of my table and my fraction fish. I did three fish, one shark, one jelly fish and one star fish that is not finished. My favorite one would be my jelly fish

I chose to different types of fish. the type of fish is a shark 3, Pac man fish, puffer fish, squid.
I chose these creatures because i was inspired by another person doing this.
I chose these colours because i know sharks are black and grey.
My method for dividing the circles are i folded the circles then opened it up then i cutted it were i needed.
My inspiration for this is i have imagined it and how it would look like in my head.

Today I did fraction fish. I did piranha fish, shark and puffer fish. The colours I used is orange, black, brown, blue and yellow. We used circles. How I cut the circles, well I folded them then cut the fraction. I used the compass to make the circles. Here is a picture and a table
